SOS – kick starting our Support On Study Programme!

As promised we are officially kick starting our Leaving Cert SOS programme – Support On Study – over midterm for our Essential French and Irish students!  Remember all of these seminars will be held by former EF students – FREE OF CHARGE TO OUR EXISTING STUDENTS !!

Our first seminar on study will cover Biology and Chemistry, given by Dave O Connell, a former Essential French pupil, now in 3rd year UCC studying Biochemistry.

What will be covered during his seminar ?

–  Basic study tips, techniques, effective note-taking, time management etc. which will cover both Biology and Chemistry.

–  Biology specific topics like time vs marks for each section, what sections of the syllabus to cover well, experiments, diagrams etc and the same again then for the Chemistry side.

–   Dave will have all of the past Biology and Chemistry Exam Papers and all of the Marking Schemes available for each student to download via a USB/Memory stick on the day as well as other notes/material etc

–  To finish : a Questions and Answer session and summary.
