HELPING CORK STUDENTS AND A LOCAL CHARITY,
ESSENTIAL FRENCH SOS STUDY SEMINARS
KICK OFF SEPT 22ND CLARION HOTEL CORK
Cork, Sunday, 22nd Sept 2013 – Essential French, a leading provider of French and Irish grinds for Junior and Leaving Certificate students in Munster, is kicking off the academic year with one of its Support on Study Seminars to help students throughout Cork, as well as supporting a local voluntary cancer support centre, The Girls’ Club.
Established in 1996 by Natasha Lynch, Essential French has earned a reputation for excellence in exam preparation and education given the exceptional exam results that its students consistently achieve. “Our results in the Junior Cert and Leaving Cert French exams were outstanding again this year. With over half of our students obtaining an A in the higher level paper we are very proud of both our business and student success, explained Natasha Lynch, Managing Director, Essential French. “We held our first ever SOS seminar just over 3 years ago and the response has been phenomenal. The fact that we offer them to ALL students, not just EF pupils, causes a genuine flurry of excitement among Cork schools”, said Natasha.
Essential French runs this series of seminars throughout the academic year, including 5th year and JC seminars for parents and pupils. “To kickstart this series, on Sunday 22nd September, we are holding our infamous Leaving Cert SOS French seminar to equip students with study skills and information that is guaranteed to help them maximize their potential. During the session we will give an overview of the Leaving Cert French exam and show students how to break the course-work right down, highlighting the key areas that maximize marks as well as sharing some exclusive tips and tricks to make study easy yet effective. We will equip students with the essential information on how to excel in the LC French exam and how to pace themselves so that they are ready to go next June”, said Natasha.
“This year as well as helping Cork students, we have decided to support a local voluntary centre. We are covering all of the overheads of this seminar to ensure that every single penny taken in will go directly to this very worth-while support group” said Natasha. Admission is €10 for non-Essential French students with all proceeds going to The Girls’ Club, a local voluntary cancer support group for cancer sufferers and their families. Natasha’s mother, Valerie passed away just over a year ago and both she and Natasha attended the club which they found to be an incredible support. “Ann, the founder of the centre is such an inspiration and I know the more financial support she and her centre receive the more families she can help”, said Natasha.
Essential French is celebrating 17 years of excellence this month. The EF team’s pioneering teaching methods have yielded exceptional results, and have been consistently proven by the highest levels of A grades in state exams year on year in French and Irish. With over 10k followers on Twitter and Facebook the College has firmly placed itself in the forefront of effective utilization of social media to enhance its brand. Lynch is currently Network’s Irish Business Woman of the year.
The Leaving Cert seminar will take place Sunday, 22nd Sept at the Clarion Hotel, Cork City. To register please contact Essential French at 021-4277474 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
