ESSENTIAL FRENCH SOS STUDY SEMINAR FOR 5TH YEAR STUDENTS
SAT 22nd FEBRUARY, CLARION HOTEL CORK
Cork, Saturday, 22nd February, 2014 – Essential French, a leading provider of French and Irish grinds for Junior and Leaving Certificate students in Munster, has just confirmed the date for its upcoming Support on Study Seminars for 5th year students studying honours French for the Leaving Cert.
Essential French runs this series of seminars throughout the academic year, including LC, 5th year and JC seminars for parents and pupils. “We have been inundated with Facebook messages and tweets via our PetitTweetCork account from students begging us for help so we have decided to run the seminar this Saturday. There are so many students in Cork so overwhelmed with the amount of work, we strongly advise students to get ahead start and enrol in a language programme during 5th year to make Leaving Cert more manageable. Whether it’s an oral course or a grind class or even help from a family friend, all of this takes the pressure off them in Leaving Cert. Due to the amazing support of our students and parents over the past 18 years we feel it essential to give a little back, hence the FREE seminars we offer Cork students during the academic year. During our session this Saturday we will give each student a study pack along with an overview of the Leaving Cert French exam and show students how to break the course-work right down, highlighting the key areas that maximize marks as well as sharing some exclusive tips and tricks to make study easy yet effective. We will equip students with the essential information on how to excel in the LC French exam and how to pace themselves between 5th year and LC”, said Natasha.
Established in 1996 by Natasha Lynch, Essential French has earned a reputation for excellence in exam preparation and education given the exceptional exam results that its students consistently achieve. “With over half of our students obtaining an A in the higher level paper we are very proud of both our business and student success, explained Natasha Lynch, Managing Director, Essential French. “We held our first ever SOS seminar over 3 years ago and the response has been phenomenal. The fact that we offer them to ALL students, not just EF pupils, causes a genuine flurry of excitement among Cork schools”, said Natasha.
Essential French is celebrating 18 years of excellence this year. The EF team’s pioneering teaching methods have yielded exceptional results, and have been consistently proven by the highest levels of A grades in state exams year on year in French and Irish. With over 11k followers on Twitter and Facebook the College has firmly placed itself in the forefront of effective utilization of social media to enhance its brand.
The 5th year seminar will take place Saturday, 22nd February at the Clarion Hotel, Cork City. To register please contact Essential French at 021-4277474 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
