Due to the huge demand around the country from our followers on Snapchat, Instagram and Facebook we will be holding our exclusive Leaving Cert French SOS Programme in Killarney at the end of April this year. Our Dublin SOS Programme have been an outstanding success so we wanted to reach out to students elsewhere in the country to help them maximise their potential. As you may know, our Leaving Cert students in Cork have obtained the highest grades in the country for the past 16 years. This is due to the smart no-nonsense approach we take in preparing our students for the exam as well as the fantastic learning methods we have developed over the past 21 years in the grinds industry.
We believe that a stand alone workshop is of absolute NO BENEFIT WHATSOEVER to a student. At a workshop a student will receive so much new material, methods, tricks and advice that they will be overwhelmed once they try to revise and apply everything from home. That is why we always provide a UNIQUE LEARNING EXPERIENCE TO ALL OF OUR STUDENTS. To ensure maximum benefit from the workshop our support does not stop following the event. From the end of April right up until the LC French exam we will help and guide students with all of the workshop information using social media platforms. All of those participating in the workshop will be added to a private exclusive closed online page where we will continue our support and help for the remainder of the year. We are the only grinds college to provide this unique facility to ensure that students will improve by practising our methods and tricks until the exam.
Workshop Topics to include :
How to complete a perfect Reading Comp; How to studying for the Listening exam effectively;
Written : diary and opinion pieces will be tackled during the session. WE will NOT include letter-writing or emails as these questions are marked harder due to the scoring scheme from the Dept of Education.
Oral : We will not tackle this part of the exam as the oral exam will be over at this point of the year.
Hands on Support : All students attending the workshop will be added to an exclusive Online Group where Natasha will be available to be contacted 24/7 until the day of the French exam. This facility is invaluable – especially as the last minute panic sets in, she is only a message away at all times.
Live Streaming : Natasha will give a series of Live Streamings following the workshop using our private online group, right up until the Leaving Cert French exam. This is a very effective way to revise the workshop material and allows students to participate and ask questions in real time.
All students will receive a workshop handout with all content included – exclusive written material; worksheets to be completed on the day and at home to perfect the structures taught; exclusive tips including how to cut down learning quickly, how to maximise points in the Language and Communication part of the written paper, and how to study effectively to ensure students reach their potential for June. While we will share exclusive material on the day, so close to the exam we will not give buckets of new material. Over the past 21 years we have condensed the LC written programme right down to the essential and WOW elements and we will share all of this with those attending. We will also equip each student with skills in knowing how best to manipulate the material they have already learned to get most marks. This is the smartest approach at this point of the year.
The workshop will be presented by Natasha Lynch, BCL, MBS, Director and Founder of Essential French.
