I had to take 2 days off work to go to the event in Dublin. On top of that I almost missed the train. The reason? My 3 year old little boy, Matt, didn’t want me to go.
Greeting mes amis! Just want to share a few tips with you for the LC oral exams!
Welcome parents! Coming up to that dreaded exam time – it’s time for ye to do some research on how best to feed your child, to ensure they will perform brilliantly ! The information below is NOT our advice – but information that we have compiled from the Examiner over the past few years. If you don’t have the time to read it all now – why not print it up and read it later, over a coffee and a Hob Nob…..
Merci beaucoup à tous – we are so chuffed with the response from so many schools all over the country!! A HUGE “merci” to all of the secondary school teachers who have contacted us these past couple of weeks, who are using our BLOG as a class exercise to assist in last minute oral preparation!
Our SOS Programme (Support On Study) has proved to be an overwhelming success among our LC pupils in Cork city. So much so that we are getting inquiries from all over the country daily looking for additional support and advice in relation to the LC French course. Students a parents from all over Ireland have been in touch with us – asking how they can access our help! So – hey presto – yer wish is our command……….
Firstly – mille fois merci – to all corners of the country – the response to our first blog was nothing short of fantastic! Thanks also to all of the secondary school teachers out there who have complimented us on the presentation and methodology used to assist in listening work! This post is designed to assist you in your oral prep. The theme is rugby, healthy eating and the importance of sport.
The first SOS BLOG is in keeping with this time of year – Valentine’s Day! We have chosen a lovely soppy song from the animated film “Beauty and the Beast”. Please find below the youtube clip of the song from the film, the lyrics and then the vocab list of the important words, useful for the LC! The BLOG finishes with a couple of phrases from the text, very handy for opinion pieces!
Due to huge demand again this year, we are now enrolling for our LC French Oral Revision Programme 2011.
I spent the afternoon today in Ballincollig Shopping Centre with my two little boys – hubbie has gastro so had to get out of the house!
We have done so much in the past 6 months in Grand Parade – to make our facilities even better than before!! This newsletter will give you an update on the new and innovative facilities recently launched in Essential French.
